The expanded study and continued practice of designing costumes for plays, operas, musicals and dances for the theatre with a continued emphasis on process. Play script and character analysis, research and costume history, and production concepts are used to develop appropriate costumes for characters. Students may also study and report on costume design professionals and their creative processes as well as other related topics.
