Spanish Literature: Medieval through Golden Age is designed to introduce students to the main literary genres (epic poems, picaresque novel, poetry and comedia) and authors of the Spanish Medieval and Golden Age literatures. Students will read selected passages from the most canonical works of these periods and practice close reading and textual commentary.
