Nicaraguan Culture and Social Service is a study abroad course that takes place in Granada, Nicaragua, a colonial town founded in 1524 and located near Lake Nicaragua and the capital, Managua. This is an immersion course designed to provide students with experiential learning in service learning, culture study and language. Students are immersed in the culture while integrating language skills in the work experience. This course is appropriate for students who have not yet completed SPAN2015. It may be applied toward the minor in Spanish but not the major.
