Preservation and restoration work in England/ Wales/ Scotland and other places will give students actual experience working on centuries-old buildings while experiencing the culture of that country. Each year TBSI will schedule trips with a duration of one or two or three weeks with an emphasis in stone/masonry or stain glass/ faux/ tile painting or woodworking/ millwork/ carving/ building techniques or etc. related to preservation and restoration. The participants will learn history, experience the culture and do hands-on work in the particular area of travel.
