This course offers a hands on workshop for the traditional building skills of log cabin restoration. The course includes the philosophy of historic preservation and traditional practices of log cabin repair. It teaches skills needed to repair typical problems encountered in historic log buildings such as log replacement, decay repairs, hewing, notching, moving, dutchman, roof installation and other skills.
