This course is a hands-on workshop for the traditional skills of architectural wood carving. The course includes the philosophy of historic wood carving and traditional practices of wood carving. The participants learn carving principles through working on an Acanthus Leaf or similar models. The workshop also covers layout and design and the use and sharpening of carving chisels.
