This course covers principles, repair, and adjustment of the diesel truck and trailer brake systems and includes hydraulic theory, air brake theory, diagnosis, and service of brake systems. Students study drums, disks, power units and Anti Lock Braking System (ASB) brakes. Co-requisite: This lecture DMT 1501 must be taken concurrently with the lab DMT 1505.
