This course is an introduction to biological science using plants as models. Basic biological concepts including chemistry, cell structure and function, genetics, speciation, ecology and physiology will be introduced. The course wii also survey the diversity found in the plant, fungi and protist kingdoms. This course will partially satisfy Natural Sciences GE.
