A study of object-oriented modeling of the scientific domain. Techniques and methodologies will be developed enabling the student to build a class library of reusable software appropriate for scientific application. Applications will be drawn from mechanics, finance, and engineering. Prerequisites: Comp Sci 228 and Comp Sci 153 and one of Math 208, 203, 229.
