AERO ENG 353 - Aeroelasticity

Institution:
Missouri University of Science and Technology
Subject:
Aerospace Engineering
Description:
Study of phenomena involving interactions among inertial, aerodynamic, and elastic forces and the influence of these interactions on aircraft and space vehicle design. Some aeroelastic phenomena are: divergence, control effectiveness, control reversal, flutter, buffeting, dynamic response to rapidly applied loads, aeroelastic effects on load distribution, and static and dynamic stability.
