Emphasizes student analysis and write-up of an artifact assemblage from an archaeological site. Weekly lectures familiarize students with analyses of prehistoric and historic archaeological materials, as well as the production of text, figures, tables, maps, and bibliographies for technical reports. Students are strongly encouraged to take ANTH 3300 Archaeological Field Techniques before taking ANTH 3400.
