The traditional topics of intermediate algebra are covered: graphing linear equations and inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities, factoring, rational expressions, exponents, radicals, quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, and an introduction to sets, functions and complex numbers. (This course does not fill the requirement for general education.) (Fall, Spring, Summer) PREREQUISITE: One of the following within the last two years: Math ACT of 18; or a grade of B- or better in MATH 0970 or 0990; or a score of 60 on the Accuplacer
