An introduction to forms and techniques of printmaking; and to the procedures of drawing and design, including in-color, in these arts. Forms of printmaking may include woodcut, linoleum cut, work with found objects, building printing surfaces in 3-dimensional relief, and others. Uses of print surfaces - papers and others - and various inks and paints - will be explored. Photography, digital arts, and other image sources may be incorporated. 3 credits
