Community volunteering projects in a variety of settings such as public schools, hospitals and health clinics, legal service offices, and minority civic centers, offers students the opportunity to use their Spanish language skills and experience issues of cultural diversity on a personal level. A minimum of 45 hours of uncompensated volunteering is required for each credit received (3 credits maximum). Prerequisite: SPAN 3040 or 3060.
