Description:
The Alpine Guide Course is designed for those who have completed as a minimum the Rock Instructor course and who wish to learn the specific skills of alpine guiding. This course addresses the tools, techniques and theory used to guide and instruct on routes up to and including Grade IV or V in length, efficient management of 3rd and 4th class terrain, technical descents, management and movement of multiple clients, along with advance skills for small team rescues. Prerequisites apply to this course, and may be viewed at www.amga.com. Not enrolled in a high school program.
