Description:
A continuation of ART 3410 offering studio assignments that question and solidify artistic vocabulary and studio work. It is the student's responsibility to develop and maintain research skills, writing skills, and studio work. Curriculum includes regular seminar discussions and presentations based on assigned reading, local lectures, and visiting researchers. Contemporary issues and ideas in sculpture are a primary focus of these discussions. ART 4410 and ART 4465 are typically taught together with a strong emphasis on establishing studio works and complete artist portfolios. Prerequisites: "C-" or better in ART 3410.
