Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1620 and University Advanced Standing; ZOOL 3100 and ZOOL 3105 highly recommended. Provides an in-depth study of avian evolution, systematics, developmental anatomy (wings, beaks, feathers), physiology, and social and reproductive behavior. Emphasizes an evolutionary and adaptive theme to the study of birds. Includes lectures, laboratories and field trips.. Course Lab fee of $41 for transportation, lab applies.
