Prerequisite(s): University Advanced Standing. Pre- or Corequisite(s): MUSC 2110. Builds on compositional techniques for music majors. Explores historical and contemporary techniques, repertoire, and concepts with an emphasis on creating and performing an original piece. Provides opportunities for students to explore their own creative process and demonstrate their knowledge through composition projects. May be repeated for a maximum of 8 credits toward graduation.. Software fee of $16 applies.. Course Lab fee of $17 for computers applies.
