Prerequisite(s): IT 1600. Introduces operation management of operating systems using Microsoft Windows. Introduces installation methods and troubleshooting, hardware device installation and management, storage management, disaster recovery planning and management. Aids the student in the development, understanding, and working knowledge of the Windows networking framework including peer-to-peer, workgroups, user profiles, domains, NTFS, and share-level permissions.. Lab access fee of $45 for computers applies.
