Presents the scientific principles of conservation biology and associated cultural and ethical issues. Explores the interplay of biodiversity, ecosystems, and human activity. Investigates the challenges facing management of our natural resources in order to maintain healthy and productive populations and ecosystems. May include a service-learning project with a community partner.. Course fee of $13 for materials, transportation applies
