Prerequisite(s): ART 1350 and University Advanced Standing; or department approval. Designed for students interested in three-dimensional art forms. Emphasizes hand building design and techniques in creating both sculptural and vessel projects in water-based clay. Teaches advanced methods of coil, slab, and pinch construction. Utilizes slump molding, rolled slab, cylinders, and molds in creation of finished clay products.. Course lab fee of $50 for materials applies.
