DANC 2210 - Basic Partnering

Designed to acquaint both the men and women in the art of supporting and dancing with a partner. Men will work on the proper lifting techniques and women will learn the skills and adjustments required to be partnered and lifted. Pas de Deux from at least five Ballets will be learned. Video will be used for more exposure. Designed for the intermediate or advanced, mature dancer. Grading is based on attendance and proficiency. Male and female dancers must be registered for a technique class and women must be registered for DANC 2200. Prerequisite/Restriction: Permission of instructor. Repeatable for credit
