Designed to deepen appreciation and understanding of cross-cultural research and its applications as well as the influence of culture on all aspects of psychology. Covers theory and research on the values, norms, group behavior, socialization, cognitive development, and psychopathology from a comparative cultural perspective. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Describe fundamental knowledge of the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, and historical trends related to the psychology of diversity and culture. 2. Identify social and ethical challenges, including possible resolutions related to the psychology of diversity and culture. 3. Describe an understanding of how culture and diversity differences affect personal mental health. 4. Describe an understanding of how culture and diversity differences affect workplace interactions.
