Spans human origins and early civilizations to the emergence of European Empires and the early explorations of the Americas up to 1500 C.E. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Analyze the political, economic, cultural and social developments in world history from the establishments of early civilizations to 1500 C.E. 2. Explain long-term and large-scale historical change. 3. Compare and contrast the interaction among salient civilizations. 4. Evaluate the causes and effects of particular historical events. 5.
