Develops concepts of psychosocial integrity and emphasizes the function and responsibility of nursing in promoting and maintaining mental health of individuals and families. This course emphasizes communication and caring through the application of the therapeutic relationship and nursing process in the care and treatment of common clinical conditions/disorders. T: 1 cr/15 contact hrs; L: 1 cr/30 contact hrs; C: 2 cr/60 contact hrs. All NUR classes require acceptance into the program prior to registration. Differential tuition rates apply.
