Focuses on an integrated study of the human body including the histology, anatomy, and physiology of each system. Examines molecular, cellular, and tissue levels of organization plus integumentary, skeletal, articulation, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Includes a mandatory hands-on laboratory experience covering experimentation, microscopy, observations, and dissection. This is the first semester of a two-semester sequence. This course is a state guaranteed transfer course GT-SC1. Prerequisite(s): REA 090 and ENG 090 and [MAT 090 or (MAT 060 and MAT 107) or (MAT 045 and MAT 107)] and BIO 111. Four credits.
