This fourth level pre-professional course advances the competencies gained in DANC 322 and is for the student who demonstrates a strong technical foundation and accurately performs a broad range of jazz dance styles and repertory with consistency, personal style, and implementing artistic choices. Students will analyze the political and social undercurrent of jazz dance in America. This course may be repeated for a total of 6 credits. Course content will be different each semester. Students will be required to attend certain dance events for this course; some may require a fee.
