Topics covered include spectrophotometry as applied to absorption, emission, fluorescence, turbidity and nephelometry; electrochemistry as applied to ion selective electrodes; chromatography, mass spectrometry, medical diagnostic testing machines as applied to point-of-care testing; instrument automation and methods of calibration including Beer's Law and internal standard calibration techniques.
