This course is designed to address the various techniques and strategies used in meeting the needs and wants of sport consumers. It also focuses on how sport can be used to assist in the marketing of other companies and products. Special attention is devoted to the uniqueness of sport marketing in comparison to traditional marketing, the importance of market research in identifying and segmenting sport consumers, and the implementation of marketing programs.
