This course provides students with fundamental skills necessary to be successful in the marine sciences. The course covers the identification and analysis of scientific literature, data analysis and presentation, research presentations, and scientific writing skills. It also provides early career guidance for students in the marine sciences with respect to pursuit of an advanced degree or the process of finding a job right after graduation.
