This is a course in the fundamentals of producing and directing techniques used in digital video production. It includes an overview of the field from the early days of silent films to today's complex productions. Using state of the art technology students have an opportunity to learn and practice the professional skills and techniques needed to produce and direct interview and electronic news gathering (ENG) sequences, as well as theatrical productions. The course concludes with the compilation of a demo reel.
