This coures is a performance-based course that focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to the teaching of mathematics and science at the Pre-K to grade 1 levels. This course fulfills the State of Pennsylvania Framework for Grades Pre K-Grade 1 in mathematics and science. Developmentally appropriate approaches to mathematics and science instruction are addressed. All students are expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the state competencies in math and science; includes 40 hours of field experience III. Demonstrated competency in all subject matter areas is required to pass this course. Offered: Fall Term.
