Prerequisite: AR 202 or comparable proficiency level as demonstrated in consultation with the instructor This course is intended to develop students' proficiencies in speaking, writing, listening, and reading so that they can be at a level necessary for advanced literature and culture courses. It will emphasize composition and oral discussion as well as concepts necessary for a sophisticated appraisal of literature and culture in the target language. This course will be conducted in the target language.
