Prerequisites: (CM 310 OR CM 315 ) AND (CM 316 OR CM 410 ). Corequisite: CM 411L - you must enroll in a section of CM 411L before you can enroll in CM 411 Laboratory work includes experiments in fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, and reactor systems. Focus on Design of Experiments (DOE), planning, data analysis and presentation, team work, and oral and written reports. Students gain experience using industrial control hardware for data acquisition and control.
