Topics include educational reform, student behavior and motivation, curriculum design, and the teaching profession. Classroom observation is a key component. Assignments include readings from the educational literature, written reflections on classroom observations, and practice teaching and constructing curriculum. First of a three-course sequence necessary to complete the Teacher Education Program.
