Introduction to digital photographic imagery. Students explore a variety of creative techniques for digital artists and graphic designers. Students learn the fundamentals of digital camera operations, and a variety of creative techniques for manipulating photographic images using Photoshop. Topics include a digital portfolio of images for presentation that includes: still life, self-portraits, documentation, landscape, special effect, surrealism, night photography and more. Digital camera required (adjustable, high-end, not a point and shoot camera). $30 lab fee. Does not meet G.E. requirement.
