This course deals with responding to network-based incidents. "Live system" forensics and the analysis of data will be discussed. A scripting language, such as Perl, will be introduced. Students are expected to be conversant with network basics and the manipulation of data using MS Excel and/or MS Access. Prerequisite of CS 136 is required.
