Diagnostic methods in speech and language pathology are covered in this course. The interview, the case history, the oral facial, and clinical examination are presented. Students become familiar with standardized and non-standardized tests. The importance of reliability and validity of testing is stressed. Fundamentals of professional report writing are also introduced. Prerequisite of SPE 63, 67, 85, and 93 OR (completion of the SPE 93/85/65 milestone (transfer plan) & co-requisite of SPE 67) is required.
