This course is an introduction to symbolic logic. The study of two important logical instruments- the methods truth-tables and the formal methods of proving the validity and invalidity of arguments will help students to sharpen their critical reasoning skills. The logic course is of special interest to prelaw, science and business majors and students who expect to take additional courses in philosophy.
