This course focuses on the characteristics of adolescent students and how effective secondary school physical education programs are planned, taught, and evaluated. Particular emphasis is placed on physical education content, knowledge, and on developing the skills necessary to become competent secondary school physical educators. Course content includes peer teaching, supervised clinical teaching, and field experience at local schools. Corequisite of PED 260 and department approval required. Co-requisite of PED 260 and Dept approval is required.
