This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of human motion, including anatomical and mechanical descriptions of movement. The course includes an analysis of basic locomotion and of selected sports skills. Laboratory experiences develop competencies in error identification and correction for teachers of movement. Three hours lecture plus two hours laboratory per week. This course has an additional lab fee. Prerequisites BIO 7 and 8 or instructor permission are required.
