This course demonstrates how solutions to environmental problems exhibit costs as well as benefits and examines ways in which public policy can be crafted to meet environmental concerns while maintaining important economic objectives such as economic growth, increased employment and international competitiveness. Prerequisite of ECO 12 is required.
