A one-semester survey course (for nursing students and others who need only one semester of chemistry) covering concepts from general, organic and biological chemistry. The course is a intended for students preparing for careers in health -related professions and is designated to provide those students with an understanding of the chemistry of biological systems and pharmaceuticals. Cannot be used as a prerequisite for any other CHM course. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory.
