This course covers a systematized study of laboratory methods for the identification of organic compounds with emphasis on the theory and use of mass spectrometry, ultraviolet/visible, infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. One hour lecture, three hours laboratory. Prerequisite of CHM 22 is required.
