This course is a study of Mendelian inheritance, multiple gene inheritance, gene structure and function, gene mapping mutation, gene regulation, evolutionary genetics and other basic concepts in genetics. The laboratory will consist of exercises utilizing microorganisms, viruses, insects and plants. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Pre-requisite BIO 103 and BIO 104 are required.
