This course provides an intensive look at the aesthetics and techniques of digital video editing. The students will explore the language of video editing, combining shots to create narratives, working with music and narration and basic news editing. Special effects and graphics are taught as ways to enhance good editing. Prerequisites of BDST 25, BDST 6 or permission of instructor are required.
