Students examine various documentary forms, then work individually and in teams to produce short documentaries. Emphasis is placed on finding an appropriate approach to the content of each documentary. The functions of producer, director, and crew are experienced through research, planning, writing, shooting, and editing. Completed documentaries of high quality may be aired on the campus television station. Prerequisite of BDST 25 is required.
