Applications and potential effects of new telecommunications and information technologies in the home and the workplace, and for education and social services. Three lecture hours a week for one semester; additional hours may be required for some topics. May be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing, and the following coursework, with a grade of at least C in each course: Radio- Television-Film 305, 309, and six additional semester hours of lowerdivision coursework in radio-television-film.
