May be repeated for credit when the topics vary. Prerequisite: For engineering majors, Mechanical Engineering 336, credit or registration for Mechanical Engineering 136L, and admission to an appropriate major sequence in engineering; for nonengineering majors, upper-division standing and written consent of instructor.
