Examines the connection between new media and society through a variety of theoretical and practical perspectives to explore the implications of the use of technology and new media in influencing community, social relationships, and public and private spaces, as well as the profession of journalism. Three lecture hours a week for one semester. Prerequisite: Journalism 310F and 311F with a grade of at least B in each.
